RamRods Technology
The RamRods Wind Taper provides you with three key benefits. First, it makes the tip of your stabilizer more wind efficient by reducing wind drag and wind torque. Second, it makes the base of your stabilizer more stiff and stable (where it already experiences the most stress). Third it reduces additional vibration from your shot by channeling vibration away from the bow and towards the tip of your stabilizer.
Our patented tungsten damping technology incorporates micro tungsten particles as an optional 3 ounces in the tip of your stabilizer or in one of our tungsten damping weight cases. When you shoot, these particles rapidly move around and absorb harmful vibration. This provides you with a uniquely satisfying shot experience you can't find anywhere else.

The RamRods HEX Weight has become one of those pieces of gear that I simply don’t want to shoot without. I already had a HEX Weight on my primary bow and have been really impressed with the balance and stability it provides. After seeing how well it performed, adding one to my backup bow was an easy decision. The Vektor 2 stabilizers are amazing! I really like their small diameter, as well as the vibration reduction they provide on my compound bow. I don’t use that much weight, but my bow feels extremely smooth and quiet with the new Vektor 2 stabilizers.

The minute that I opened the shipping box, I have been so impressed with the sight. Outstanding packaging and sight case. The sight design is great along with quality of workmanship is outstanding. The only issue I have is the 2 screws that attach the mounting block to the riser were defective and needed to be repaced. Time will tell is the sight if this sight is worth the extra cost above the competition...

Where do we start with this review, first thing is the initial packaging and presentation of the hex weight is fantastic. The box it comes in shows the actual size of the weight which is a simple but super effective way of seeing the size without opening the packaging. The zip up case and cut outs is also high quality and makes a useful pouch for storing archery related gear in. The engineering and quality of the Hex weight is fantastic, the finish is second to none. The weight can easily be stripped from 40oz to 20oz taking off the small blocks one at a time removes just over 3oz. It's a beast of a weight. More to follow but the added weight and tungsten has certainly made the bow feel nicer through the shot and feedback. Highly recommend to anyone looking to add a serious weight to thier barebow.

The edge adjustable v bar is great, locks easily at many angles and doesn’t release easily. I suspect there is a defect in the ultra v3 main rod however since it makes quite a bit of noise when vibrating the limb and doesn’t really damper it all that quickly, my teammate who also uses the ultra v3 showed me his bow oscillates only about 3 times after release while mine oscillates for about 15 times which is a lot more and far less crisp and dampened.

Got the hex weight just before heading out to field nationals but I couldn't wait till after to give it a go on the bow. It performed perfectly and I noticed immediately that it dampened the bow a bit more than the system I was running. I'm running it now with all the weight on it but its awesome that it gives me the option to take small amounts off or shift the balance to find what works best. Looking forward to playing with this a bit more.

Wow, the Beast are the beast, the VIBRO-Core was the first I feel and when that use on my training sesion was a radical changing feeling, with the Steve Wijler Tungsten Powder Damping I could feel the diference frecuence anti-vibro.

I’ve been running the new RAMRODS Hex weight for a while now and I can honestly say it’s one of those upgrades that just works. The first thing I noticed was this stability it adds to my set up, my bow holds steadier at full draw and settles beautifully on the target. That confidence alone is a huge win. The adjustability and customizations are another big stand out. Being able to find tune and weight placement let me dial in the exact feel I want without compromise. Whether you like a more front heavy hold or something perfectly balanced the Hex gives you options. Bonus: it made my bow noticeably quieter, which is something every Archer can appreciate, especially when consistency and feel matter most. And let’s be real here… It looks awesome! The design is clean, modern, and turns heads. I’ve had a lot of folks ask me about it on the line and every comment I’ve heard has been positive. I highly recommend it.

I really like the feel of the bow with these dampers. There are 3oz of tungsten in the stabilizers, so I put 4 oz on the dampers. I have 2 oz in the top pocket of the Hoyt SR formula riser. I might go to 8 total oz on the stabilizers, but for now everything is working great.

It is way better than my old stabilizers. It aims incredible and remains rock solid in the wind. I run 10oz on the 30 inch front bar and 14iz on the 12 inch back bar and my outdoor scores in training immediately jumped by 15 points. It is a truly awsome stabilizer.

The soft rubber allows me to have an additional dampener that doesn't require much weight at all to have an effect on vibration reduction, without really changing the center of gravity of my bow. As I'm using all the riser inserts, my riser is as quite as it can get.
